Privacy Policy

§ 1 General Provisions

The data controller is PTAK S.A., with its registered office in Rzgów (6 Żeromskiego Street, 95-030 Rzgów), entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs under KRS number: 0000396803, whose registration files are maintained by the District Court for Łódź-Śródmieście in Łódź, 20th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, NIP: 7282785090, REGON: 101295738. Data protection is carried out in accordance with the requirements of generally applicable legal provisions, and data is stored on secure servers.
For the interpretation of terms, the glossary in the Terms and Conditions shall apply, or as described in the Privacy Policy (where this is directly apparent from the description).
To make the Privacy Policy easier to understand, the term ‘User’ has been replaced by ‘You’, and ‘Controller’ by ‘We’. The term ‘GDPR’ refers to Regulation (EU) (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
We respect the right to privacy and ensure data security. To this end, we use, amongst other things, a secure communication encryption protocol (SSL).
Personal data provided via the form on the landing page is treated as confidential and is not visible to unauthorised persons.

§ 2 Data Controller

The service provider is the data controller for its customers’ data. This means that if you have an account on our website, we process your personal data, such as: first name, surname, email address and telephone number.
The service provider is also the data controller for those who have subscribed to the newsletter and those who have registered for the webinar.
Personal data is processed:
in accordance with the regulations on the protection of personal data,
in accordance with the Privacy Policy in force,
to the extent and for the purpose necessary to enter into, define the terms of, amend or terminate the Agreement, and to ensure the proper provision of Services provided electronically,
to the extent and for the purpose necessary to fulfil legitimate interests (legally justified purposes), and where the processing does not infringe upon the rights and freedoms of the data subject,
to the extent and for the purpose consistent with the consent you have given if you have subscribed to the newsletter,
to the extent and for the purpose consistent with the consent you have given, if you have registered for the webinar.
Every data subject (where we are the data controller) has the right of access to their data, the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, the right to object, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

We reserve the right to process your data after the termination of the Contract or the withdrawal of your consent, but only to the extent necessary for the purposes of pursuing any potential claims in court, or where national, EU or international law requires us to retain such data.
The Service Provider is entitled to disclose the User’s personal data and other information to entities authorised under the relevant legislation (e.g. law enforcement agencies).
Personal data may be erased as a result of the withdrawal of consent or the lodging of a legally valid objection to the processing of personal data.
The service provider does not disclose personal data to any entities other than those authorised under the relevant legislation.
We have implemented pseudonymisation and data encryption, and we have put access controls in place, thereby minimising the impact of any potential data breach.
Personal data is processed only by persons authorised by us or by data processors with whom we work closely.

§ 3 Cookies

Our websites use cookies. These are small text files sent by a web server and stored by your browser software. When the browser connects to the website again, the site recognises the type of device the user is connecting from. The parameters allow the information contained within them to be read only by the server that created them. Cookies therefore make it easier to use websites you have visited before.
The information collected includes your IP address, the type of browser you are using, your language, the type of operating system, your internet service provider, the time and date, your location, and any information submitted to the website via the contact form.
The data collected is used to monitor and analyse how users interact with our websites, in order to improve the site’s functionality and ensure a more efficient and seamless browsing experience. We monitor user information using Google Analytics, which records user behaviour on the website.
Cookies identify the user, which allows the content of the website they are using to be tailored to their needs. By remembering your preferences, they enable us to tailor the adverts shown to you. We use cookies to ensure the highest standard of user experience on our website, and the data collected is used solely within PTAK S.A. for the purpose of optimising our operations.
We use the following cookies on our websites:
‘performance’ cookies, which enable the collection of information on how the website’s pages are used;
‘advertising’ cookies, which enable us to provide users with advertising content that is better tailored to their interests.
Additional personal data, such as an email address, is collected only where the user has given their explicit consent by completing a form. We retain and use this data solely for the purposes necessary to perform the relevant function.
